BEHIND Birth Trauma Club™

Founded by Emely Wexler

Birth Trauma Club™ was founded by a woman who has lived through severe birth trauma and understands firsthand how birth can change everything overnight and how much there is to navigate in the days, weeks, and months that follow.

After experiencing birth trauma herself, Emely recognized a shared reality among women: many are left trying to make sense of what happened while simultaneously adjusting to life after birth, often without community or meaningful support resources.

At the same time, she saw that care teams are frequently working within systems that aren’t designed to fully account for the realities women face after birth creating a gap between clinical care and lived experience.

Birth Trauma Club™ was created to sit at that intersection: supporting women as they navigate life after birth trauma, and partnering with care teams to help shape postpartum care that is more aligned, responsive, and reflective of what women actually live with after birth.
